Cellist
As a Cellist, Tim continues to perform with many highly respected orchestras and ensembles including the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Bristol Ensemble, English Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, Southern Sinfonia, Opera della Luna, and has also recorded for TV, Film and on commercial albums on many occasions.
Tim recently recorded solo Cello parts for a number of Hollywood film trailers including ‘Yellowstone’, ‘Mother’ and ‘Entebbe’ and has also recorded for many leading music production libraries and for BMG and Universal Production Music.
He is very active as a chamber musician and is the founding member of the highly versatile Arcosanti String Quartet.
Tim spent 4 years as the full-time Cellist in the Bath Pump Room Trio – a world renowned professional chamber group that has been in residence at the Grand Pump Rooms in Bath since 1706.

Tim has over 25 years of experience as a Cello teacher, during which time he has taught children and adults of all ages and levels. He is taught in a wide variety of settings, in state and private schools, music services and on a private basis too.
Many of his students have achieved grade 8 distinction, and several have been awarded performance diplomas. Several have gone on to win music competitions and study at leading music conservatoires.
Whatever your personal aspirations might be, Tim aims to nurture and develop a love of music and the Cello, and to bring a sense of personal achievement to lessons.
